Youth iPhone Filmmaking Course

This is a hands-on course. The course connects film making to Arabic culture and Arab- American identity.
Students will learn: How to use the iPhone video camera to produce high quality videos; Composition, shot sizes and exposure;
Using a tripod with iPhone; How to tell a simple story visually; How to edit a video using iMovie; How to add music to video;
How to add titles/ credits; How to export a video file; Create a YouTube Chanel and upload the video.
Emphasis will be placed on take-home assignments that connect photographs to Arabic Culture and Arab- American identity.
In class feedback and constructive criticism will be key to student advancement.

Requirements: Please bring your iPhone or iPad.
Minimum age: 7 years old.
