2017 Oleander Initiative Participants

“The need for educational programs such as the Oleander Initiative is as urgent today as never before. Peace Education in my mind, is the only means to counter the discourse of hate, demonization, exclusion, racism and violence.” – 2017 Oleander participant
Representative Denise Provost (27th Middlesex) and the University of the Middle East Project invite you to a fundraiser to support the Oleander Initiative, a one-of-a-kind peace program that gathers together Middle Eastern and US teachers in Hiroshima, Japan. Oleander educators impact thousands of students in the Middle East and the US through Hiroshima – inspired peace education lessons every year.
